About –

Born from the same competition DNA as the Mako but refined for full-size, competitive performance, the Hammerhead is built to run hard on match day and stay predictable under pressure. Based on a G17  platform with Poseidon’s signature slide design, it delivers a stable sight picture, faster return to target, and ergonomics tuned for long training sessions.

Each Hammerhead ships with a co-branded Poseidon x Apex Tactical trigger. The trigger’s clean break and short, tactile reset make it easy to run at pace without guessing what the gun will do. An match grade barrel keeps recoil impulse smooth and predictable and shots accurate, while a brass slug in the grip adds weight and shifts balance just enough to help the gun settle faster between shots.

Topping it off is an oSight X 3 MOA competition red dot, mounted and zeroed with a laser bore so you can go straight from the box to the range as well as a set of Fiber Optic Iron Sights. The result is a full-size pistol that feels grounded, tracks flat, and is genuinely competition-ready out of the box.

Each Poseidon Gunworks firearm is produced in small waves to ensure precision and consistency.
When in-stock builds sell out, new orders enter the next production cycle and are handcrafted to the same exacting standard.

  • Will this ship to my address? — Serialized firearms must ship to a licensed FFL. We coordinate transfer with your designated FFL and complete required paperwork.
  • What is the lead time? — If we are out of stock you can pre-order and the typical build and QC time is [6-8 weeks].
  • Is the optic included? — Yes! Every Hammerhead comes with the awesome oSight X, a competition grade, 3MOA red dot installed and zeroed to a 15-yard laser bore sight
  • Support and warranty? — Full Apex warranty applies to the co-branded trigger. Standard component warranties apply. Poseidon provides direct in-house service and coordination if needed.
